1. Purpose

These terms govern the sale of antique Japanese garments and accessories, and of alteration and transformation services, offered by [TO BE COMPLETED] to consumers.

Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

2. The pieces

Every piece is an antique, one-of-a-kind object. Photographs, measurements and condition reports are prepared piece by piece and are binding on the seller.

Antique pieces carry traces of use — variations in colour, marks, yellowed linings. Where these exist, they are photographed and described. They do not constitute a defect.

Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, [TO BE COMPLETED]. Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.

4. Order and payment

An order is confirmed once these terms are accepted and payment is made in full.

Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Card details never pass through this website and are never accessible to the seller.

A one-of-a-kind piece is withdrawn from sale as soon as it is ordered.

5. Delivery

Pieces are shipped from France within [TO BE COMPLETED] working days of payment.

• Outside the European Union: [TO BE COMPLETED]. Any customs duties and taxes are payable by the recipient.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code you have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason.

To do so, inform the seller by e-mail before the deadline. The piece must be returned in its original condition within fourteen days. **Return postage is at your expense.** Refunds are made within fourteen days of the return being received.

Exception: under article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to pieces made to your specifications or clearly personalised — that is, to made-to-measure commissions. This is set out in writing before any quote is accepted.

7. Legal guarantees

All pieces are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

As these are second-hand goods, the period during which a defect is presumed to have existed at delivery is twelve months.

These guarantees apply independently of the right of withdrawal.

9. Mediation and applicable law

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought first. Failing that, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator named in the legal notice, or to the European online dispute resolution platform.

These terms are governed by French law.
